Uploader for Instagram - post pictures to Instagram App Reviews

It does what it says, I can upload anything straight from my mac to instagram. Very useful! Note: computer requred a restart before I saw the share option in the menu.

This works really well and does exactly what I need it to do. I like that I can zoom in and out so the picture doesn’t necessarily have to be the standard square. The last update was a little wonky but these guys listened to our concerns and fixed it so now everything works great again. THANKS! This app makes my job much easier!

The app does not display the share to instagram option in the context menu andthus is completely useless as that (according to instructions) is the only way to make it work. I want a refund.

I have to drag a picture out of photos to the desktop to get “share to instagram” to show up in the menu when I right-click. That’s not how this is supposed to work but it’s easy enough that I will still use it. It seems to be a common issue judging from the comments. What’s frustrating is I had to come here to the app store reviews to figure out that that’s the work-around since the app isn’t working as advertised. That was time-consuming and aggravating. I gave it 3 stars.

Everytime I try to post it says “An error occurred!…” It’s a known problem since 1/1/2016 but no fix yet and it’s been six months.

Hi, Downloaded, restarted and can now see the share to instagram option; however, when I click ‘Done’, my caption box does not pop up to finish posting. Please please help. Thanks, Conner

Worked great the first time. I did restart my computer first, which could solve potential issues for first launch of new software. The icon is not in the doc, it is on the bar at the top right by the clock, in case you have trouble locating it.

I spended $5.00 for nothing..I bought it and its useless. I can’t upload pictures from my Imac to IG. I left a mesage to support team and they never got back to me. I need a REFUND!!

A couple things in order that would make this app much better. 1. Needs a larger preview area of the image your uploading!! 2. Pull in the filters instagram uses. The mac filters are pretty useless and you can barely preview the results. I think there are better ways to hack around the instagram uploading constraints. This was a decent attempt, but falls short for serious photographers. Thanks dudes! But its a low rating for me. :(

For the same price of $4.99 there is another App on the Mac App Store that supports video uploading. Will change to 5 stars when video uploading is added.

Where are the instructions on using? Did not show a share to Instagram option when restarted. Please give more info. hate wasting 4.99$$

I had some issues in the beginning but it was my Mac settings and not this apps. So I have changed my rating from 1 to 4.

I tried to log in to my Instagram account to start using it and I immediatly get and error saying my version of Instagram is out of date. What does that even mean? Any help folks?

YES!!! Finally an app to post from my mac! Just made my business life much easier. One fix that would be great….it seems to change the clarity of my pictures that I post.

For my job, we post 8-10 Instagram pictures a week that are first designed on the computer. So it’s always been a bit of a nuisance to transfer the image over to my phone then upload to Instagram. This app takes care of that. A future feature should be the ability to share to Facebook/Twitter when you post it.

Seems odd that a photo uploader for Mac doesn’t work with the Mac’s default photo app. You have to engage in a two-step process: export the photo from iPhoto, then use Uploader.

I always share my instagram to my facebook and I use repost on my phone. It really helps to hit both at once. This app needs to link into your instagram page to be able to set it up to share to facebook like it does on the actual Instagram page.
